Abstract:

In this study, it was aimed to determine the effect of 5 different types of shading device on office building energy performance according to depth, slope, orientation, window-wall ratio and glazing type parameters. For this purpose, a building energy simulation was performed with DesignBuilder energy simulation program for the determination of the annual primary energy consumption of a total of 1485 scenarios created with all these parameters for a hypothetical single zone office module. As a result of the simulation; heating, cooling and lighting energy consumption values were obtained. Afterward, daylighting analysis of the scenarios giving the lowest annual total primary energy consumption was made and the results of the analysis were compared in terms of daylighting performance. Finally, Pareto analysis was performed for all scenarios. According to the results of Set 1 results obtained in the MATLAB program using NDS (Non-dominating sorting) algorithm; The functional relations of heating, cooling and lighting energy consumption with each other and their rate in the results according to the characteristics of the parameters examined were evaluated. It was determined that there are more scenarios with south oriented, spectrally-selective glazing type, 1.5 m depth and 0 ° inclination angle. Finally, the percentage change of the energy savings provided by each type of shading device was calculated and a guideline was developed for designers to take effective measures when designing the shading device in the early design stage.
