Özet

Ocular metastases originate from 8-9.7% of breast cancers and 1-6.7% of lung cancers. Symptomatic ocular metastases of lung cancer are rare. A 68-year-old male patient with otherwise good health presented with impaired vision of the left eye. Posterior segment examination of the left eye revealed retinal detachment and subretinal choroidal mass. Orbital magnetic resonance imaging showed a metastatic lesion and chest computed tomography revealed a mass. Clinical examination and laboratory investigations revealed no other metastases. Non-small cell lung cancer was diagnosed with transthoracic biopsy of the mass. Retina detachment may be the first sign in patients with lung cancer; therefore, such patients should be investigated for the primary site of cancer.
