Özet

Placenta previa percreta with bladder invasion is associated with a rare but serious risk of maternal hemorrhage. We present the case of a 37-year-old woman with placenta previa percreta invading the urinary bladder. A cesarean operation with supracervical hysterectomy, partial excision of the bladder and bilateral hypogastric artery ligation was carried out in the 36th week of pregnancy. A part of the placenta was excised manually and the remaining placenta was left in situ. The beta-hCG level was not measurable at 60 days postoperatively. if a multipara with a history of cesarean section and placenta previa presents with hematuria, the possibility of placental invasion of the bladder should be considered.
