The Epigenetics and Cancer Research Group focuses on investigating epigenetic regulations in normal and cancer cells, with particular emphasis on the discovery of novel epigenetic drugs for use in cancer and on epigenetic reprogramming. In addition, the group conducts numerous studies aimed at the development of new cytotoxic agents (including natural and synthetic compounds) for cancer cells.
