The production of small arms components using additive manufacturing and the development of their surface properties: Another significant milestone has been successfully achieved within the scope of our project titled “Production of Small Arms Components Using Additive Manufacturing and Development of Their Surface Properties.” Led by Prof. Dr. Temel Varol and conducted under the TÜBİTAK 1505 University-Industry Cooperation Support Program, our project welcomed Prof. Dr. Savaş Dilibal as a program referee. During the visit, technical tours were organized at our industry partners TİSAŞ and METAM, and the project's progress was evaluated in detail. This valuable visit was an important achievement in confirming that our project is progressing in the right direction scientifically and technologically, while also providing strong motivation for our goal of developing local and innovative solutions for the defense industry.
