The 2022 results of the statistics showing successful scientists in the world have been published. The list of the world's most influential scientists, which is prepared annually by Stanford University and Elsevier in collaboration with Elsevier, has identified the scientists in the top 2% of the world's scientists. While preparing the list, scientists were evaluated based on important criteria such as h-index, number of publications and number of citations. The list included 1395 scientists from Turkey.

According to 2022 performances, Prof. Dr. Temel Varol ranked 4042nd in the world ranking in the field of Materials.
