The research group has been providing graduate degree, master's degree and PhD degree education in the field of urban conservation and renewal, conducting many researches (thesis, articles, reports, etc.) and providing consultancy services for many years.
The main subjects of this research group are defining the cultural heritage of the cities, reading the historical layers and revealing the meaning of the city within its whole, determining the place of historical values in a contemporary city and approaches and methods for transferring them to future generations, and producing integrated conservation-oriented plans and design decisions and site management plans for these areas from the strategic perspective.
