Özet:
The present
master's thesis entitled "Migration as a topic in the media against the background
of the refugee crisis and integration policy” is about a set of broad and
current topics on the so-called “refugee crisis" and its reflection in the
print media.
The aim of this
work is to investigate, which context factors of the refugee crisis and integration
problems are already considered, and whether and how this topic is presented
and discussed in the print media, based on the theoretical and empirical data.
The empirical
part pursues the question of whether and to what extent the selected leading print
media (FAZ, SZ, DIE WELT, DER SPIEGEL) have presented and described the migration
topic of refugee crisis between the years 2015-2018. To do so, a
media-theoretical context is developed which serves as the basis for a critical
media analysis of media on refugee crisis.
