Abstract

Blindiadelphus campylopodus, Sphagnum quinquefarium, Gymnomitrion obtusum and Anastrophyllum minutum are reported as new for Turkey and Southwest Asia, following a recent bryological excursion to the Sis Mountain of Turkey. Also, genera Blindiadelphus and Anastrophyllum are given as new record for bryophyte flora of Turkey. Brief descriptions, illustrations, geographic distribution, ecology and comparisons with morphologically similar species are presented.
