Özet
This paper investigates rate-splitting multiple access (RSMA) with grey wolf optimization (GWO)-based digital precoder design in indoor terahertz (THz) communication systems operating at 300 GHz. A hybrid architecture with a 32 × 32 uniform planar array and Grid-of-Beams (GoB) analog beamformer is considered. The proposed GWO algorithm directly refines the joint precoder matrix initialized from regularized zero-forcing (RZF) solutions. Results show that RZF-based RSMA achieves up to 39.6% sum-rate gain over space-division multiple access (SDMA), while GWO-based RSMA provides an additional 49.9% gain over RZF-RSMA. Robustness analyses under channel state information (CSI) errors, phase noise, and their combination indicate that the proposed GWO-RSMA system retains 87.2% of ideal performance under combined impairments.
