Abstract

In this study, some fluid and fluid-structure systems subjected to static and dynamic loading are analysed using the Lagrangian method. The formulation which includes the effects of compressible wave propagation and surface sloshing motion is programmed and incorporated into a general-purpose computer program for structural analysis (SAP-IV). This method is applied to some fluid and fluid-structure problems. Results are compared with the various analytical and numerical solutions.
