The purpose of this research is to determine the present situation of the workplace
allocated to the academic staff of Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) in terms of
ergonomics and to evaluate the attitudes of these staff about ergonomic workplace and
productivity. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the ergonomics levels of
the faculties were different and there were statistically significant differences between
the productivity attitudes of the participants in terms of gender, age, title and tenure. In
addition, there was a statistically significant relationship between work-related
musculoskeletal and/or eye disease status and productivity attitudes.
Bu araştırmanın amacı; Karadeniz Teknik Üniversitesi (KTÜ) akademik personeline
tahsis edilen çalışma ortamının, ergonomiklik açısından mevcut durumunu ortaya
koymak ve söz konusu personelin ergonomik çalışma ortamı ve verimlilik konusundaki
tutumlarını değerlendirmektir. Analizler sonucunda fakültelerin ergonomiklik
düzeylerinin farklı olduğu ve katılımcıların cinsiyet, yaş, unvan ve mesleki deneyimleri
açısından verimlilik tutumları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıkların
bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca işe bağlı olduğunu düşündükleri kas-iskelet ve/veya
göz hastalığı olup olmama durumu ile verimlilik tutumları arasında istatistiksel olarak
anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur.
