This study aims to design and assess a different effective approach in science teaching by implementing cooperative learning to increase achievement in science teaching/learning and improve professional skills of student teachers in pre-service teacher education. Developed approach in the context of research encourages student teachers to reflect on how they could implement effective science teaching to influence the quality of students' learning outcomes. In this regard, the approach which involves cooperative learning and discussion for implementing in science teaching/learning could provide more opportunity for student teachers by means of learning by teaching, learning by doing and learning by collaborating.
