Abstract

The K-shell X-ray intensity ratios K(i)/K(j), the production cross-sections sigma(ki), the fluorescence yields omega(K), the vacancy transfer probabilities from K to L shell eta(KL) the Gamma(K) level widths and the line widths Gamma(Ki) for some heavy elements and their compounds in the atomic range 73 <= Z <= 81 were measured. The experimental values were compared with the theoretical, the semi-empirical and other experimental values for several pure elements. (C) 2010 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
