The Land Ethic is a concept pioneered by Aldo Leopold in the twentieth century, and encompasses the obligation to respect all living organisms. This holistic thought aims to protect the lives of all living things in the ecological system, and to create a peaceful order in which all communities have equal rights. It draws attention to the fact that the domination of humans over other members of the land community disrupts the balance in nature. In Esra İlter Demirbilek's children's books titled Earth Team: Nature's Awakening and Earth Team: The Secret in the Water, the Earth Team tries to correct the negative consequences of human intervention in nature, and struggles to prevent damage to the earth community. It is also important that mythological elements are utilized in the children's struggle to reorganize the inner workings of nature and that Mother Earth/Umay is the primary supporting character. This is because Umay has been connected with the earth since the creation narrative, has been the protector of the earth community, and has the necessary knowledge, skills and equipment to restore the disrupted order. In this study, the works titled Earth Team: Nature’s Awakening and Earth Team: The Secret in the Water, which deal with the climate crisis, which is called climate change and climate crisis as a result of human beings not acting in accordance with land ethic and which requires an urgent solution for the continuation of humanity, will be evaluated in the context of land ethic by making use of the data of mythology.
