Özet

Although multi-color visible light communication and positioning (MC-VLC/P) systems offer high accuracy, existing methods require prior and exact knowledge of the spectral characteristics of the hardware. This study proposes inertial measurement unit (IMU) assisted blind calibration method that eliminates this prior knowledge requirement. In the proposed architecture, the non-linear relationship between the optical channel eigenvalues and the angle of incidence (AoI) is learned using IMU data obtained by randomly tilting the receiver at a single unknown location. Simulation studies demonstrate that the proposed system provides cm-level positioning accuracy for different filter sets. This developed structure offers hardware independence, which significantly enhances practical application flexibility.
