Özet

A linear mixed model (LMM) can be given in certain multiple partitioned forms, and there exist reduced linear mixed models (RLMMs) associated with the given partitioned linear mixed model. We consider in this work the best linear unbiased predictors (BLUPs) of LMM and RLMMs. This work aims at establishing some analytical formulas for calculating ranks and inertias of dispersion matrices of BLUPs and using these formulas in the comparison of BLUPs' dispersion matrices under the LMM and RLMMs.
