Özet

This article explaines on how the Alawis who were under the authority of Otoman Empire are discussed in German sources. Information and interpretation about the Alawis is ascertained from encyclopedia, memoirs and research work that published approximately 100 years.. In this context three key questiones that are being answered. These are; What are the orgin of Alawi's religion and history? How is Alawi's religios belief and their economic and social power?
