In this study, a total of 345 individuals belonging to 18 Ornithogalum populations has been investigated in terms of numerical taxonomy. Phenetic clustering of these populations based on 18 floral and vegetative characters grouped them into six clusters corresponding to the six species traditionally described as O. sigmoideum, O. armeniacum, O. umbellatum, O, oligophyllum, O. wiedemannii, O. orthophyllum. As a result of principal component analysis of these populations, it has been determined that the length of the first floral branch and outer tepal which are the basic characters for separating the taxa in most flora are the best variables explaining the variation among the examined species.
