Abstract
In
the framework of two Higgs doublet model (2HDM), the direct pair production of the
neutral Higgs boson is evaluated at a gg-collider, considering the full one-loop diagrams.
To show the effect of the new physics, four benchmark points are selected in
the type-I 2HDM, and they are compatible with current experimental and
theoretical constraints. The total cross section is calculated as a function of
the c. m. energy for both the opposite and the same polarization of the initial
photons. The differential cross section is also presented in both 2HDM and SM
for √s = 500 GeV. The total cross section can be enhanced by the oppositely
polarized photons as well as threshold effects. It is shown that depending on
model parameters, the production rate is significantly enhanced in 2HDM, compared
to the predictions of SM.
