Abstract

Fungi specimens were collected from different localities in Black Sea Region of Turkey. The specimens were examined, photographed and deposited in a personal fungarium at the Black Sea Technical University in Trabzon, Turkey. As a result of field and laboratory studies 34 taxa belonging to 34 families were recorded. Micro- and macro element contents in the fruiting bodies were determined by atomic absorption spectrometry after microwave digestion. The results were (as mg/kg) 0.12-1.82 silver, 1.6.2-77.9 aluminium, 0.25-2.75 cadmium, 0.24-2.66 lead, 35.2-82.2 copper, 160-833 iron, 14.3-77.6 manganese, 30.6-176 zinc, 401-1388 sodium, 22800-52476 potassium, 408-3066 calcium, and 745-1777 magnesium.
