Özet

The aim of this study is to determine, based on interview data provided by nine cram school science teachers province of Trabzon in Turkey, the basic characteristics of good cram school science teachers. It is hoped that finding out about those features that make them qualified will contribute to the preparation of science teachers during pre-service training stage in such a way that it will also fulfill the expectations of crams schools to some extent, enable student-teachers to upgrade their readiness to provide professional skills development, and make it possible for them to actively work in cram schools by having knowledge of the related pedagogical skills.
