Wind and photovoltaic system installations are increasing rapidly. The integratrion of renewable energy systems into distribution networks are changing the structure of the conventional distribution systems. However, these integrations bring new problems to the power distribution. Measurement and control must have become very important because generetion and dissipation are now side by side requiring efficient generation and dissipation management. A power management algorithm has been developed in this study and applied to PV-utility integrated residential type loads. Power generation and power demand by loads are both considered in he proposed algorithm for power sustainability, loss reduction, minimum voltage and frequency variations while keeping the PV system as the main power source.
