Artificial illumination methods are getting imponance in improving the duration of city usage and obtaining the usage at nights. Illumination types and illumination equipments are effective design ele- ments for city identification and sustainability. Defining illumination purpose is vital for the effective illumination. Aesthetic and functional purposes on illuminations are targeted in urban development. if aesthetical view is not being aimed on functional illuminations, iHumination will result in chaos in used areas. Therefore, as possible as, illumination instructions should be obeyed, for this, multidisciplinary studies in a coordinated harmony is necessary to get good results and for the best illumination.
