Molecules of the title compound, C12H16N2O2, are linked by N - (HO)-O-... hydrogen bonds [(NO)-O-... = 2.971 ( 2) angstrom, (HO)-O-... = 2.17 (2) angstrom and N - (HO)-O-... = 162 (2)degrees] into cyclic centrosymmetric R-2(2)(8) dimers.
