Soil-Structure Interaction is one of the main topics
examined by many researchers. The researchers apply experimental and numerical
studies in accordance with this purpose. To contribute to this topic, the
numeric analyses are performed to obtain the effect of soil properties on the
dynamic behavior of buildings in this study. To contribute to this topic, the
numeric analyses are performed to obtain the effect of soil that has different
material properties on the dynamic behavior of reinforced concrete structures
in this study. In this paper, finite element analyses are applied using the
ANSYS (2016) software program. The soil and structure are modelled in ANSYS
software program by various element types. After the finite element modelling is
completed, the dynamic characteristics of structures are obtained. There are
soils that has different material properties under these structures. Then
earthquake recordings are applied to investigate the effect on stress and displacement.
Thus, the effect of soils that has different material properties on the dynamic
behavior of reinforced concrete structures has been observed.
