Özet

The extreme population growth in our country and the fact that unplanned urbanization occurred as a result of unplanned and uncontrolled movements in the direction of immigration from the urban to the periphery, the encroachment of the primitive settlements that do not allow humanity to live in the environment and the destruction of the existing tectonics in the center and the destruction of historical, cultural and natural values, causing the quality of life to decrease gradually. In this context, discussions on the definition of the content of the concept of urban quality of life have brought together debates on how and by which concept this measure will be measured. The lack of consensus on the concept of quality of life leads to the differentiation of the indicator sets according to the disciplines in which this concept is addressed. In the scope of the study, the determination of the quality of life for the city of Trabzon will be carried out within the framework of the results of the surveys conducted in the city and statistical methods and objective evaluations will be tried to be established.
