Özet

Anatolia is the main genetic origin of rig in the world. Various types of rig cultivars are growing in different climatic conditions of Anatolia. Black Sea Region is more valuable, especially for fresh consumption fig cultivars. This study was conducted to select promising Patlican cv. fig (Ficus carica L.) types at the Black Sea Region of Turkey. 160 Patlican cv. rig trees were evaluated and given the mean values of first year in this study. Fruit weight was between 22.21 to 77.40 g, fruit width 33.17 to 60.5 mm, total soluble solids (TSS) 10.34 to 20.50%, internal cavity 1.60 to 14.8 mm, ostiole width 1.67 to 9.20 mm. In addition, fruit shape, fruit symmetry, shape of the fruit stalk, ease of peeling, ribs, skin cracks, skin color, over color, color formation in the meat, internal color, fruit flavour, fruit size, fruit color, and condition seeds were determined. Of 160 Patlican cv. fig types, ten types were selected for general quality traits (fruit weight, fruit width, fruit length, internal cavity, and ostiole width).
