Özet

Superconducting Solders are essential for superconducting applications as they have been
used in superconducting power lines, high-field magnets for MRI systems, nuclear fusion
reactors and particle accelerators. Besides, radiation shielding properties are quite vital
to determine the thickness to design the radiation absorption level of the used the materials
for radiation used systems. The attenuation and shielding parameters are the mass and
linear attenuation coefficients, and half value layer (HVL), tenth value layer (TVL) and
mean free path (MFP) were determined for High Temperature Superconductors added
SnIn superconducting solder. The usability of these materials in superconducting devices
has been evaluated.
