Abstract

Stream self-purification mechanism model parameters were significantly affected by the applied parameter estimation methods and by the existence of inorganic metals. Changes of the values of initial dissolved oxygen (DO) deficit, reaeration coefficient, reaction rate constant, and ultimate biological oxygen demand caused significant effects on the DO-deficit curves.
