Abstract

Sphenoid sinus mucocele presenting with unilateral visual loss: a case report. Objective: Mucoceles of the sphenoid sinus are rare and may remain undiagnosed until symptoms arise due to the compression of surrounding structures. Because of its close proximity to the sphenoid sinus, the optic nerve may be compressed and visual impairment may result.
