Özet

In this study, load frequency control for a hydroelectric power plant with a fractional order PID (FOPID) controller is implemented in MATLAB simulation environment. FOPID controller parameters are optimized under three different load values (0.2pu, 0.4pu and 0.6pu) using Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Mayfly Optimization (MA) algorithms. In the optimization process, the ITAE performance index, which is frequently used in control systems, is considered as the objective function. The transient response results of the system were analyzed using the optimum parameter values obtained. These results are given comparatively in figures. The transient response results, maximum overshoot and settling time results are also given in tables.
