Bu çalışmada, iktisadi büyümenin temel unsurlarından biri olan beşeri sermayenin önemi ortaya konulmaktadır. Gelişmekte olan ekonomilerin ekonomik kalkınması ve sürdürülebilir nitelikte büyümesi, özellikle beşeri sermayenin göstereceği gelişmeye bağlıdır. Bununla beraber beşeri sermaye yatırımlarının gelişmesi de eğitim, sağlık, nüfus, ekonomik gelir ve yaşam düzeyinin iyileşmesiyle birebir ilgilidir. Çalışma aynı zamanda Türkiye’deki beşeri sermaye göstergelerinden sağlık, eğitim ve nüfus gibi kavramların önemi vurgulanmakta ve bu kavramlara ilişkin sayısal verilerle konu desteklenmektedir. Kalkınma ve beşeri sermaye kavramlarının insani gelişmişlik endeksine göre karşılıklı ilişkisinin Türkiye açısından ele alınması çalışmanın bir diğer önemli boyutunu oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmanın amacı; beşeri sermaye kavramının önemi ve iktisadi büyüme ile ilişkisi olup, bilgi ve teknolojiyi kullanmanın küresel ve ulusal ekonominin gelişmesinde ne denli önemli hale geldiği, verimliliği artırmak, kaliteli ve nitelikli işgücü yaratmak, istikrarlı bir iktisadi büyümeyi sağlamak, dünya pazarlarında rekabet avantajını elde etmek ve söz sahibi olabilmek için beşeri sermayenin önemini vurgulamaktır. Sonuç olarak, beşeri sermayeye verilen önem arttığında ekonomik büyümenin daha sağlıklı ve niteliksel biçimde gerçekleşebileceği söylenebilir
In this study, the importance of human capital, which is one of the basic elements of economic growth, is put forward. The economic development and sustainable growth of developing economies are particularly dependent on the development of human capital. At the same time, the development of human capital investments is directly related to the improvement of education, health, population, economic income and life. The study also concepts such as the importance of human capital as a form of health-education population in Turkey and emphasized issues related to these concepts are supported with quantitative data. Addressing the human development index mutual relations based on the concept of human capital in terms of deve-lopment and operation of Turkey constitutes another important dimension. Purpose of the study; the importance of the concept of human capital and its relationship with economic growth, the importance of using information and technology in the development of global and national economy, to increase productivity, to create a qualified and qualified workforce, to provide a stable economic growth, to gain competitive advantage in the world markets and have a say to emphasize the importance of human capital. As a result, it can be said that when the importance given to human capital increases, eco-nomic growth can be realized in a healthier and more qualitative way.
