Özet

The importance of potable water, which is the life source of living things, and the need for these resources are increasing day by day as a result of the increase in population and ecological destruction. It is very important for humanity to find a solution to this increasing problem and to purify various undrinkable water types by using the developing technology and make them drinkable. In conventional water treatment systems, potable water is obtained between the determined limit values by using various filtration techniques. However, this water may contain various microorganisms that can harm human health. To eliminate such a possible risk, disinfecting the waters treated with conventional methods using UV (Ultraviolet) ray technology will minimize the risks in terms of health. The treatment system designed within the scope of this study will meet its energy from photovoltaic energy (the method of obtaining electrical energy from the sun with solar panels), which is a renewable energy type, and will be designed in an easily portable way. Thus, a portable purification device that is not connected to the mains energy and can be used easily in any place will be made. Physical treatment of the water will be carried out by passing the water, such as sea water, muddy water, which is given to the inlet in the designed water treatment system, through a carbon-steel filter for pre-filtering. Microorganisms that are likely to live in this treated water and may be the main cause of diseases such as typhoid, cholera, diarrhea, and jaundice will be destroyed by using UV technology. The quality values (temperature, pH, turbidity, salinity) of the water will be taken by the test devices at the points where the non-potable water enters and the potable water exits, and these values will be found to comply with the limit values specified by the World Health Organization by using artificial neural networks. Appropriate purified water will be made available to living things.
