Visible light communication (VLC) is developing rapidly to meet ever expanding demands for wireless data transfer, as either a support system for traditional communication methods or a good alternative to them. Realistic VLC channel structure should be acquired in order to design a robust VLC communication system and test validity of any proposed method. This study reveals experimental VLC channel measurement results for a standard office environment illuminated with commercially available white LEDs. Measurements also confirmed by analytically calculated results.
