Abstract

The Hartley transform (HT), which was originally introduced by Hartley (1942), is an integral transform similar to the Fourier transform (FT), and it has most of the properties belonging to the FT. The HT is a real transform and is an alternative to the FT since one complex operation is equal to four real operations.
