Abstract

Gases produced in combustion systems contain high pollutants. With the use of box filters used for gas cleaning and cooling requests, waste and harmful components such as tar, soot, dust and dust are removed from the gas content. Depending on the properties of the gas used, filters and cleaners are used in different designs and sizes. However, especially those suitable for domestic use are very limited. In this work, the gas that is passed through the cylindrical body and the ventilated box filter designed in five stages is cleaned. Charcoal fragments, wood blocks, pellets and glass spheres are used for filtration respectively. In the last stage, a mist eliminator is available. A water cooling system is used to cool the gas and to remove waste from the system. It is possible to reduce the gas temperature below 50 ° C at the exit of the box. Thus, it is aimed to reduce the environmental pollution with this filter which can be installed in the existing heating and cooking systems. It is prevented from being blocked by gas suction by the fan connected to the system. In addition, it is possible that this box filter helps gas production directly in production facilities such as biogas and synthesis gas.
