Abstract

The transfermium isotopes has gained great attention in terms of experimental studies after predicting of the presence in 1960s and then starting to be synthesized in the laboratory. These süper-heavy nuclei, have been studied theoretically extensively in parallel to the experimental studies. Due to the structure of the relativistic spinorbit
interaction, the RMF (Relativistic Mean Field) model including this type of interaction without requiring any additional terms is one of the theoretical model. The model is used successfully in estimation of the nuclear properties in a wide area covering the periodic table. In this study, binding energy, nuclear size, deformation parameters and quadrupole moments have been calculated for Rf isotopes and the comparisons with the
experimental data and other model results have been performed.
