Özet

The aim of this study is to determine the soil quality index in a watershed. For this purpose, the watershed was divided into 500x500m grids, and 138 samples points generated. Totally 276 soil samples (disturbed and undisturbed) were collected in order to determine soil properties included grain size distribution, aggregation rate, aggregate stability, organic matter, mean weight diameter, porosity, field capacity, wilting point, pH, electrical conductivity, bulk density. These properties were used as indicators, and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was used for weighting and scoring the indicators, and determining soil quality index (SQI). The SQI showed differences along the watershed.
