The title compound, C14H15N5O, has two similar independent molecules in the asymmetric unit. The crystal structure is stabilized by C-H center dot center dot center dot O, C-H center dot center dot center dot N and N-H center dot center dot center dot N intermolecular hydrogen bonding.
