Abstract

The evidence of the impact of heavy ion irradiation is revealed by several experimental studies. Recent progresses are provided through the use of these results. On the other hand, semi-emprical Monte Carlo calculations have another important role. 5 and 10 MeV energetic swift Au ion irradiation to Chromium, Nickel and Zirconium is simulated by SRIM and GEANT4 Monte Carlo Codes. The results were discussed in the view of particle and ion induced effects.
