Abstract

The new quinoxaline substituted (E,E)-dioxime (H2L) containing a dioxadithiadiazamacrobicycle has been synthesized from a 2,3-phenylenediamine attached mixed-donor-macrobicycle unit and cyanogen-di-N-oxide. The mononuclear Ni(II), BF2+-capped Ni(II) and heterotrinuclear Cu(I)Ni(II)Cu(I) complexes were prepared and their structures were confirmed elemental analysis, H-1, C-13 NMR, IR and FAB MS spectral data.
