This paper presents the finite element reliability analysis of beams. Beams having different supports and loadings are selected as examples. Monte Carlo method is used to find the probability of failure of these beams both by explicitly with maximum deflection limit state function and implicitly with finite element analysis. The modulus of elasticity, distributed load and moment of inertia are selected as random variables having normal distribution. The probability of failures and reliability indexes obtained from the Monte Carlo reliability analysis both explicitly and implicitly solution of the beam are compared with each other. It is seen that the results obtained from both cases are close to each other.
