Abstract

Ester ethoxycarbonylhydrazones 1 were reacted with some monocarboxylic acid hydrazides and the corresponding 3,5-dialkyl-4-ethoxycarbonylamino-4H-1,2,4-triazoles 2-5 were obtained. Treatment of 1d with malonodihydrazide led to the formation of a ditriazolylmethane 6d. But, 3-alkyl-4-amino-4,5-dihydro-1H-1,2,4-triazol-5-ones 10 were obtained from the reaction of compounds 1 with carbohydrazide.
