Bu çalışmanın amacı, İMKB’de işlem gören imalat sanayi sektörü şirketlerinde çalışma sermayesi gereksinimini etkileyen değişkenlerin kriz öncesi ve kriz dönemlerinde neler olduğunu tespit etmek ve bu değişkenlerin ilgili dönemler itibariyle farklılık gösterip göstermediğini belirlemektir. Bu amaçla İMKB’de işlem gören imalat sanayi şirketleri üzerinde ampirik bir çalışma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre; kaldıraç oranı ve duran varlık oranındaki artış hem kriz öncesi hem de kriz dönemlerinde çalışma sermayesi gereksinimini azaltmaktadır. Bunla birlikte stok devir hızı ve Tobin q değeri kriz öncesi dönemlerde çalışma sermayesi gereksinimi üzerinde herhangi bir etki göstermez iken kriz dönemlerinde çalışma sermayesi gereksinimini azalttığı tespit edilmiştir.
The aims of this study are to determine which variables affect working capital requirement in enterprises of manufacturing industry sector effecting transactions in ISE before crisis and during crisis and also whether these make differences in regarding periods. In this scope, it is made an empirical study on manufacturing industry companies effecting transactions in ISE. As a result of this study, increase in leverage ratio and fixed assets ratio decreases working capital requirement before crisis and during crisis. On the other hand, it is concluded that inventory turnover and Tobin q value decrease working capital requirement during crisis as they do not affect working capital requirement before crisis periods.
