Background: Technical modi. cations and methods for gallbladder dissection to minimize the risk of gallbladder perforation during laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) are described. The authors aimed to investigate the effects of gallbladder aspiration during LC on the operative and postoperative course of patients.
