Abstract
Seeds of oriental hornbeam (Carpinus orientalis Mill.) were collected from the natural distribution area in Turkey. Seeds were collected from three different populations originating from three different altitude levels (0-400 m, 400-800 m, 800-1200 m), from the sea level to the highest point of the study sites (1200m).
