It is thought that by examining network structures, useful information can be produced in determining
cross-border trade strategies. In line with this study, examining network analysis of Turkey's hazelnut
exports and is aimed to compare the results with traditional export evaluation criteria. In the study, the
hazelnut export network from 41 provinces to 124 countries in 2020 was analyzed using UCINET 6, and
graphs of the network structure were obtained through the Netdraw 2.173. Research results show that the
country rankings based on the degree centrality and the centrality of the betweenness differ according to
the countries with the highest export and the countries that export from more provinces. Considering that
central countries can access new market information more and more rapidly than other actors in the network
and access various connections, it is thought that the results obtained will contribute to the determination
of priority target countries for hazelnut export.
