Chromosome numbers in species of <i>Alchemilla</i> ser. <i>Elatae</i> (Rosaceae) in Turkey

Özet

This paper presents the results of a karyological analysis of 17 species of Alchemilla L. sect. Alchemilla subsect. Calycanthum Rothm. ser. Elatae Rothm. The studies were carried out on plants from northeast Anatolia (Turkey). About 75% of the species have chromosome numbers 2n = 86 to 123. A few species have a lower number. The species an polyploids like the majority of species of sect. Alchemilla studied so far from various geographic areas.
