Özet

Calorific values (higher heating values, HHV) of 16 biomass samples obtained from different Turkish sources were determined experimentally and calculated from both ultimate and proximate analyses. The HHV (MJ kg(-1)) of the biomass samples as a function of fixed carbon (FC, wt%) was calculated from the following equation:
